Priorities and funded actions

Objectives

  • To raise the capacity of grassroots sport organisations
  • To encourage the practice of sport and physical activity in third countries not associated to the Programme
  • To promote social inclusion through sport
  • To promote positive values through sport (such as fair play, tolerance, team spirit)
  • To foster cooperation across different regions of the world through joint initiatives

Priorities

  • Priority 1: To promote of common values, non-discrimination and gender equality through sport
  • Priority 2: To development of skills (through sport) needed to improve the social involvement of disadvantaged groups
  • Priority 3: To integrate migrants
  • Priority 4: To reconcile post-conflict

Among financed actions

  • Creating and developing networks between organisations/countries/regions
  • Developing and implementing exchange of best practices/ideas
  • Implementing common sport activities and educational side events
  • Launching, testing, sharing and implementation of new forms of non-formal learning methods tools, practices and materials through practical training and mobility of sport staff
  • Raising awareness on issues of discrimination of disadvantaged groups in sport
  • Supporting the building of an engaged and active civil society

Eligibility

  • Be a legal person
  • Be a public or private entity
  • Be active in the field of sport
  • Be established in one of the eligible countries:
    • EU Member States or third country associated to the ERASMUS+ Programme or in third country not associated to the Programme from Region 1 (Western Balkans) or Region 2 (Neighbourhood East)
  • A consortium composed of at least 4 entities, established in at least 3 different EU Member States or associated countries to the programme must be constituted (see details on the Erasmus programme guide)

  • Initial duration of the action: between 12 and 36 months

Financement
  • Total budget of the call: 2.170.000 euro
  • Amount of the grant: between 100.000 and 200.000 euro
  • Funding rate: up to 80% of the total eligible costs
